Sustainable Tourism in Bariloche: Views and Debates on a Fragile Region

Brazilian-based international environmental NGO Aruanda, is holding an expo in Bariloche, in conjunction with Aruanda Patagonia on sustainable development and sustainable development in Patagonia.

Expo Desarrollo Sustenable II” will look at different points of sustainable tourism for Patagonia, including for example:

  • The environment and socio-environmental responsibility
  • Principles and universal concepts
  • ‘Best practice’ examples and experiences
  • Value-added environmental tourism
  • The pollution-consumer link
  • Proactive environmental tourism and education
  • Civil society partipation.
